Main duties : Reviews customer service quotations prepared by the section foreman Estimates cost of repairs and prepares itemized work order, listing cost of parts and labor, then negotiates with customer for agreement Prepares warranty machine failure then submits to Service Director Coordinates with sales department and arranges for the assembly and delivering of heavy equipment to customers Prepares and authorizes local purchase requisitions for workshop consumables, and reviews stock twice weekly Develops and implements stringent safety rules and procedures for facility maintenance, operational activities, and employee safety and follows up to ensure employee adherence Plans for internal manpower movement depending on workload Assists Service Director in developing maintenance procedures for his region to enhance workmanship in term of work quality and number of work orders completed in a timely manner Administers subordinates and increase workshop productivity by boosting manpower skills through on-the-job training
