Main purpose of the job: Directs, supervises and supports marketing and purchasing activities. Arranges deals with both local and international suppliers to promote company’s operations in all aspects of the business by performing the following duties: Negotiates with equipment supplier technical specifications, prices, and delivery schedule to ensure acceptable product at the best cost for company’s annual equipment requirement Supports national and regional sales managers to finalize sales and responds to special customers enquiries Finalizes financing authorization in a timely manner for all purchases and agreement terms with suppliers Follows-up on shipping and or deliveries of equipment on a daily basis Contacts regular and prospective customers to solicit orders by phone or by meeting them on the sales floor Prepares periodic and instant status reports to the Managing Director and auditing committee Prepares department budget Initiates and follows up on major orders for special projects, both large and medium range, ensuring new business opportunities for the company in the Kingdom Makes periodic visits, existing suppliers to retain good business relationships and meet new suppliers in order to establish new agency business
