Job Scope:

Responsible for the overall purchasing strategies and operations and creating concrete and continuous savings in total cost of Marine Operations.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure budgeting and financial monitoring and reporting according to company’s financial policies in order to ensure proper financial management for procurement management of Marine Operations .

• Discusses budgets with Technical Manager, follows up budgets results and reports them as to what extent budgets have achieved their targets.• Supervises Dry-Docking plans and work list with the assigned superintendent.• Follows up vessel’s requisitions, Store and Spare parts and controls the flow of parts supplies in form of Quantity and Quality as laid down in the budgets. Emergency works/ supplies are treated as needed. • Approves vessels requisitions submitted by Superintendents after confirming its consistent with company’s purchasing system. • Supplies ships with Lub Oil, Spares and stores at the most appropriate time and place. • Investigates reputable contacts for the supply of stores and spares to company managed vessel.• Executes spare parts requisition and supply.• Executes stores /provision requisition and supply.• Studies offers in order to identify the best offer before approval is given.• Assist the Fleet Manager / Group Procurement Manager in other tasks as requested
