ROLE PURPOSE



A Structural Project Manager will be required to assist the Project team on a large Hospitality project within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Will have an extensive Structural concrete and frame construction experience background, and will be familiar with all aspects of the construction process.



The Structural Project Manager will understand the sequencing of the project, recognize key logistics, and critical components as the construction process evolves. The role will require extensive knowledge of formwork, false-work designs and their integration, will have a clear understanding of concrete mix designs and placement techniques. An experience in structural steel components, assemblies, and standards will also be required.



The role will require extensive knowledge of logistics regarding laydown areas, loading, formwork and steel sequencing, advising the Project team throughout the project cycle, including generating and reviewing method statements related to the work. Additionally, duties will participation in defining and developing the scope of all structural work, preparing and coordinating logistic plans, procedures, schedules, estimates, forecasts and assisting with budgets.



The role will require coordinating with the design and engineering team, review extensively shop drawings and submittals relating to the structural components of the systems. Coordinating with other disciplines and understanding each of their needs as the project progresses.



The Structural Project Manager will have a strong understanding of the applicable laws and requirements as it pertains to individual components of the project. The role will also expect a clear understanding of the correct certification and local government’s approval as the project progresses and will demonstrate a clear understanding of the designer’s systems, and structural requirements as shown in the construction documents.

The Procurement manager will serve as point of contact between the Project management team, venders and suppliers. Assists in the information and advises the project team for owner/client meetings to ensure that the senior management can make timely and effective decisions, with accurate project information to inform the team.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



• Assisting and collaborating with the project management team.

• Aids in creating and implementing project work plans, revising plans & details based on project structural requirements.

• Actively involved in the logistic and sequencing plans of the project.

• Review of submittals and shop drawings relating to structural components

• Extensively involved in Formwork and false work designs, construction and sequencing.

• Experience in Structural steel frames will be required.

• Extensively reviews method statements for components assemblies in the field.

• Experience in drafting and design software would be preferred.

• Communicates clearly the sequential process for key items during the construction phase.

• Ensuring all certifications and approvals for the region are met for each component.

• Actively involved in the closeout and final handover documentation for components.

• Implementing company methodologies and project principles,

• Preparing project reviews and documenting project details.

• Implements safety procedures and budget planning to reduce risks and revenue losses
