Our client, a renowned financial institution is currently recruiting for a Senior Relationship Manager



Organisation Unit Purpose

To enhance the Corporate Banking Portfolio of both Assets and Liabilities and to maximize the net income (agreed target) to bring more potential relationships.



Job Purpose

The role holder is responsible for managing a team of relationship managers to market and develop significant new business manufacturing business based on thorough market understanding and analysis, Likely to be responsible for the overall relationship delivery of a team of professionals dealing with large accounts or for significant relationship delivery personally. The role holder is required to use a range of competencies and skills relating to service delivery and people management



Main Task

• Regularly review the market to identify opportunities and trends in allocated segments develop forecast and business plans and seek their approval

• Ensure preparation of compelling proposals that will meet the policies and customer needs and negotiate their acceptance

• Ensure that appropriate risk analysis and risk/returns assessment is carried out to recommend timely remedial actions, where appropriate

• Proactively manage relationships with customers and take personal responsibility for the establishment and maintenance of key relationships to leverage business achievement

• Provide professional and expert advice on products and services to customers and business leads to other units to ensure that business opportunities are realized

• Regularly review account performance and make appropriate recommendation for optimizing returns

• Ensure compliance with the bank’s approved policies, procedures and norms to protect the organisations and customers interest

• Manage a team of competent relationship managers and their performance to deliver targeted results and high levels of service Performance Measures
