Role Purpose: Section Head - Export to develop and carry out export sales activities within and outside KSA

Accountabilities:

1. Establish and maintain export business contacts

2. Plan and implement ‘export strategy” and activities consistent with guidelines of the organization for export orders

3. Monitor, record and analyses results and recommendations relating to export activities

4. Manage/liaise with supply chain management for product availability and shipment

5. Respond to and follow up all export sales related enquiries

6. Liaise with shipping companies for competitive freight rates and custom clearance and ensure cost efficiencies

7. Assess and request IT for creation of customers’ account

8. Assign and delegate preparation of shipping documents to export administrator as per the export order

9. Follow up and obtain reports related to shipping documents approval from the concerned ministries

10. Organize and fulfill pre-shipment inspection requirements by adhering local mandatory practices of the exporting country

11. Preparation of L/C documents strictly conforming to the bank requirements and updating management with summary reports

12. Coordinate with Finance management regarding credit limits, payment reconciliation and invoicing requirements

13. Follow up with importers for timely payment in accordance with company business terms

14. Attendance of business meetings and issuance of progress reports

15. Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills and pass over it to team members
