PURPOSE OF THE JOB:



The Accountant has significant accounting and reporting responsibilities including expense verification and planning and supports other finance team members when necessary.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



1. Responsibility of the expense claim management.

- Review the monthly expense claim for compliance to FX rates

- Verify the expense claim to ensure all supporting documents are in order

- Ensure the expenses are in line with the internal approval matrix

- Ensure compliance to international accounting standard and group controlling guidelines.

- Ensure the authorization rights, signing limits, master data updates are maintained on regular basis.

- Collect, consolidate and process error free monthly Marketing Expense Recharges by ensuring data consistency in SAP

- Work closely with the Regional finance team for processing any accounting general journals (adjustments) necessary on a monthly basis.

- Improve the reporting efficiency



2. Fixed Assets Management:

- Reconcile the fixed assets to accounting records on a yearly basis

- Ensure necessary supporting documents are in place for scrap/disposal of assets in the markets.



3. Planning

- Preparation of the planning files for all markets during all revised estimates and business planning process.

- Uploads the planning files into the required planning systems (BI & Hyperion)

- Supports Regional Finance Managers with administrative tasks during the planning exercise

- Manage master data maintenance in SAP for new internal orders in line with planning files.
