• Review all new network security products and services with regards to the suitability for use within the organization in order to assist the Group and its entities to launch new initiatives in a secure manner.

• Research new security issues and vulnerabilities and mmaintain up-to-date knowledge of security threats, countermeasures, security tools and technologies

• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to team members and aactively promote awareness of network security processes across the organisation through structured communication and security awareness programs.

• Conduct Security investigations and provide support during incident response handling and present reports and findings to ensure management has the sufficient information and recommendations for sound decision making.

• Attain security certifications in relative areas

• Manage the administration and operations of Security monitoring systems and analyse and review reports, logs and alerts from security monitoring systems to ensure vigilant monitoring.

• Conduct gap analysis, vulnerability assessments, security audits, code reviews and risk assessments and recommend remedial measures and impact analysis based on experience and knowledge.

• Assist the auditing department in conducting the standard auditing procedure.

• Prepare monthly security posture reports and present timely to management for effective decision making.

• Manage assigned security projects as per PMO best practices
