Contribute to the development of the Project Management strategy, policies, systems, and processes for fulfilling the Project Management requirements in line with the vision, mission and overall strategy of the company.

Guide team in translating the strategic goals into short / medium term objectives for the department and monitor timely execution and meeting of plans. Ensure the excellence model is integrated within the unit’s policy framework, systems, templates and procedures and covers all its functions.

Provide inputs on the technical aspects of project related to the initial creative concept, preliminary visualization and preliminary cost estimates to guide the development of the business plan and ensure the Project parameters are met in line with agreed project objectives throughout the project development cycles. Obtain approvals and buy-in from the required internal authorities and the various project stakeholders. Introduce the concept of sustainability at the concept and design stages in order to have a greater impact on sustainability at the execution stage



Lead the process of project design including: evaluation of design team, regular meetings with infrastructure consultants, coordination with all concerned Authorities, follow up design time schedules and monitor the progress of design activities. Provide overall direction in the management of the Project Cycle comprising the following main steps to achieve the Project objectives and ensure the Project parameters are met in line with agreed project objectives

Direct the management of various projects within approved project parameters like cost, timelines, functionality and quality to ensure that goals and objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters and to the satisfaction of business stakeholders and customers. Continuously monitor projects to ensure that risk is mitigated and the quality of service delivery meets agreed standards and meets customer expectations over the life cycle of projects. Direct the development of operational plans for resource

management, financial budgets and timelines of assigned projects to accomplish the delivery plans of assigned projects

Direct the project teams, ensuring the efficient planning and allocation of all resources and implementation of appropriate standards and controls to ensure that all Projects are executed in an efficient and effective manner, meeting or exceeding the overall revenue, profitability and growth targets

Provide leadership in building and nurturing beneficial associations with key external stakeholders e.g. (government authorities, clients and outsourcing service providers) in order to ensure that the appropriate level of external services are obtained to the best advantage of the organization

Oversee the management, supervision and monitoring of the Consultant and the Contractor working in the construction contract of the project. Monitor and control all site activities to ensure the satisfactory completion of the project and report to the client on a regular basis on project progress vis-à-vis project milestones, budgets and timelines. Conduct regular site visits during construction to ensure that all planned schematics are materialized accordingly

Provide leadership to the Unit - setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal - in order to maximize subordinate and departmental performance
