Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization.



Tasks :

- Ensure that adequate policies & procedures and internal controls are in place for all activities relating to the financial accounting function.

- Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) SOCPA and regulations.

- Maintain adequate audit trails to permit tracking a transaction from beginning to completion to allow for the detection and correction of errors that arise.

- Review related policies & procedures on a regular basis to ensure it is updated, serves the company requirements and identify any opportunities for continuous improvement .

- Work with auditors as needed on research / resolution of complex accounting issues.
