• Setting company targets on a monthly basis aligned with the yearly budget.
• Setting monthly trade offers for the sales representatives.
• Coming up with a yearly marketing plan to cater for the:
1. Upper trade
2. Lower trade
3. Horeca
• Analyzing the market, including competitors and consumers.
• Monitoring competitor activities that include, RSP, BTL activities, trade offers, etc, on a monthly basis.
• Monitoring and arranging the distribution of promotional materials, making sure it is well utilized.
• Monitoring and coordinating the production of promotional materials in line with the overall brand concept.
• Acting as liaisons with the media agency.
• Acting as liaisons with the advertising agency.
• Acting as liaisons with the different suppliers.
• Analyzing promotional activities ATL/BTL and recommending action plans.
• Plan, implement and monitor trade marketing activities (promote all activities related to the brand in-store in order to develop sales, enhance off-take, increase market share and improve customer satisfaction).
• Support in the design and development of promotional material mainly tailor-made signage and counters for VIP clients.
• Work closely with key customers (regular field visits) to provide insights on both the category and shoppers
• Handle fully all year round tasting activities (both planned in-store tasting as per a yearly calendar and participate in events such as community gatherings and celebrations).
• Following up on the Merchandiser’s daily tasks and route with daily reporting.
• Following up and coordinating regarding production of POSM for local and export markets.
• Following up on product penetration and listing in new markets; including study of the existing brands and recommendations for the 4Ps of the brands in the new markets.
o Prepare needed setup
o Coordinate with customer or event organizer to ensure booking of location and time
o Coordinate with all involved parties for timely delivery of set up to location
o Assemble and dismantle tasting set up
o Select and train lady promoters (as per marketing department manuals)
o Ensure the right execution (as per marketing department guidelines)
o Ensure client satisfaction
o Maintain different parts of tasting setup (ensure all parts are technically operational and kept in very good condition)
o Contact suppliers to replenish the material needed to run the tasting activities.
