Leadership for Workshop Team:-

Leads multi disciplinary teams of Welders, Fabricators, Machinists and Valve Technicians safely and provides work direction and supervision to the technicians. Takes technical decisions for maintenance on equipments and assets within his area that requires high level of knowledge, experience, coordination, analysis, technical background along with good leadership and management skills. Conducts tool box meetings and address recent incidents, near misses and concerns. Audits all activities and ensures SMPs, checklists are prepared & reviewed.

Leads, coaches and guides Qatari Developees working within his area, follows up the development plans, reviews their reports and provides comments.



Reliability and high availability of plant equipments and assets:-

Keeps updated with technological improvements and implements changes for equipments thereby enhances equipment reliability/availability. Coordinates and provides support on maintenance of equipments in a cost effective manner to help meet production targets.



Management of materials, spare parts and tools:-

Provides inputs for cost control and preparation of maintenance budget. Provides inputs for procurement of spare parts, materials & tools and manages tool crib.



Vendor/Contractor’s development and interaction:-

Takes responsibility as Designated Site Representative for contractor to coordinate and ensure contractor-safety. Prepares technical scope of work, performs bid analysis and reviews various contracts, Conducts technical analysis with vendors for emergency work or significant events, coordinates vendors in major repairs, reviews work scope and executes the work safely. Participates in hiring of technicians and contractors - review resumes, short listing and interviews.
