The Role

To advise and guide Transport and Logistics Employees on all health, safety and security issues so as to provide a healthy, safe and secure working environment at head office and other operational locations. To be the main focal point of localised security issues and provide the balance between accidental security intelligence and local intelligence, that provides business value by protecting it’s assets.

The day to day management of Transport and Logistics HSS Team to provide a high level of health, safety & security to key business managers and VIP’s

The Person

We are looking for a seasoned HSS Manager with significant experience of working in a large Blue Chip Manufacturing or Logistics Business. You will be a strong leader adept at gaining the buy-in of all stakeholders in the maintenance and implementation of a world class HSS program. You will need to have the tenacity, drive, and commitment to impose your ideas and views on a significantly large, multi-culturallly diverse workforce consisting of a high number of employees spread across multiple sites. You will need the experience to directly manage your own team of HSS Inspectors and develop KPI’s and reports in accordance with business objectives. You will also act as a trusted and respected consultant to senior management on all issues health, safety and security therefore any experience in the Middle East will be of great benefit.
