The Role:

You will be responsible for proof reading and revising marketing and editorial copy as supplied by our brands, or generated centrally at corporate level, in the relevant language, for the promotion of the Alshaya Company and/or Alshaya brand.





Specifically you will:

* Support advertising and promotions/catalogues in magazines and social media

* Write clear, persuasive, original copy

* Work closely with Corporate Marketing colleagues and the brand teams

* Translate, proof read and check spelling and grammar

* Amend, revise or redevelop content to meet Alshaya and brand guidelines.





Skills and Requirements:

You will have/be:

* Experience gained as an Arabic teacher or within an advertising/marketing agency

* A good understanding of print and production deadlines

* Good knowledge of the private sector, preferably in retail

* The ability to adapt text to different communications channels (traditional and online)

* Strong communication skills (fluent in English and Arabic)

* Degree educated

* Organized and detail oriented, able to work successfully to deadlines
