Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Analyze financial information to produce forecasts of industry and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions.

2. Assemble spreadsheets and draw charts and graphs used to illustrate technical reports, using computer.

3. Evaluate and compare the relative quality of various securities in a given industry.

4. Interpret data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability, future trends in investment risks, and economic influences.

5. Maintain knowledge and stay abreast of developments in the fields of industrial technology, business, finance, and economic theory.

6. Prepare plans of action for investment based on financial analyses.

7. Review all payments (Bank Transfers & Checks) prepared by the Accountant before being submitted to Director of finance.

8. Review Payroll submitted by HR. (Review Staff Account for any input in the payroll: additions or deductions) before being submitted for signature.

9. Prepare end of month closing as follows:

• Review Accruals & Prepayments & Ascertain that they are properly accounted for

• Ascertain that Banks’ Reconciliations are prepared

• Run Depreciation process & Reconcile Fixed Assets Register

• Review all the ledger accounts and ascertain that they are properly reconciled

• Review the P& L Accounts for proper allocation & for month to month analysis

• Review Ageing Analysis Report (Generated by the System)

• Review Trial Balance

10. Prepare Financial Statements with the detailed notes (Balance Sheet, Income Statement)
