Role Overview:



Will be responsible for providing application side expertise to the end users in Finance, HR, Sales and logistics departments and overall maintenance of MS AX ERP and its integration with other applications.





Description of Duties and Tasks:



Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following.



Activities typically includes:

Support ERP implementation project, coordination between the implementing partner and the end users.

Responsible for support to ERP serving internal clients - Finance and HR

Report writing and development through discussion with department head and briefing on how the changes are intended to perform.

Troubleshooting and advising possible solutions to anticipated problems.

Working as part of a team, this may be established purely for a particular project, or to write a specific function of the Application.

Combining all the elements of the ERP design and testing it, prior to importing to the production system.

Testing sample data-sets to check that output from the Application works as intended.

Linking the database to integrate with other applications to fetch desired output.

Troubleshooting of minor routines issues.

Evaluating and improving the performance of ERP application.

Applying patches and updates as and when necessary.

Conducting user acceptance survey to ensure the changes made are user friendly and accurate.

Writing detailed documentation for the customization done and feedback on the performance of the application by end users.

Referring manuals, periodicals and technical reports to learn new ways to improve and maintain existing system.

Updating, repairing, modifying and developing existing application and generic applications.

Complies with standard company policies and procedures and convert same into ERP application.

Assesses training needs and selects training tools for end users.

Reviews the status reports of end users across departments and addresses issues as appropriate.

Taking routine backups for the Database.







Knowledge:



Must possess very good functional and technical knowledge of MS Axapta 2012 and be able to explain and demonstrate, with reasonable comfort the essential functions to the end users for efficient performance.



- Required:



Information systems with regards to Finance, Human Resource and/or CRM applications / functionality.

Writing and/or modifying existing application, documenting solution for application systems, debugging application, and developing test data.

Writing Reports based on functional specifications from end users

Analysis, planning, and verification procedures for ERP application.

Design techniques and protocol in relation to new project development, enhancements, and complicated software solutions.

Technology project management and implementation.

Database Management Systems, preferably SQL and scripting.

Supervisory principles, practices, and methods.

Handle backend of the ERP application.
