Stat to Tax Job Requirements

• Strong accounting background and a strong working knowledge of US GAAP.

• Data Analysis - essential

• Collaboration - essential

• MS Excel/ Powerpoint and word - advantageous

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English - essential

• Experienced in PowerPoint and Word -

• Ability to communicate effectively and to listen and understand concerns and issues.

• Ability to quickly interpret and understand local requirements and valid treatments for both Local and GAAP purposes

• The role is focused on ensuring delivery of the Stat & Tax providing assurance that all compliance and reporting requirements for each entity is achieved for both local and US GAAP purposes

• Complile, review and validate the BLP (Baseline pack documents)

• Translating the US GAAP TB into local reporitng currency as per the local rules

• Provide Supplementary info & perform main controllership checks through the schedules identified in System

• Report out the S2G to the stat controllership, Business and corporate Tax controllers and Business Controllers

• Support the financial audit and coordinate efforts with GE Businesses

• Support the SOX audit on the stat and Tax project -testing key controls and remediation of deficiencies found

• ICWA/CA Inter with good experience in tax filing and auditing preferred for this role.
