Discuss and review the annual audit plan with the Chief Audit Executive for and recommend modifications to it during the year if circumstances necessitate

Identify risk factors prevalent in the auditable entities and prepares risk identification sheets including control factors.Contributes to the establishment of audit standards and practices by recommending improvements to the Internal Audit Manual

Conducts audit assignments in line with the annual Internal Audit plan and within the budgeted time in a professional manner, adopting the best audit practices and appropriate audit techniques

Makes recommendations for enhancing the internal control environment after necessary discussion with the respective department, ensuring that they are appropriate and agreeable

Submits audit findings report to the Chief Audit Executive before discussing them with the concerned party and obtain comments and responses on all findings from the Auditee

Submits comprehensive reports on results of audits, studies and evaluations including respective department comments and responses to the Chief Audit Executive

Ensures follow-up action is taken where remedial plans have been recommended to a particular department and that the required changes have been implemented and function accordingly

Assists with the follow up meetings and provides findings to Chief Audit Executive for further action

Maintains tracks of audit reports, compliance breaches, remedial plans recommended and action taken

Organizes all documentation related to internal and external communication, memos and policy documents

Performs other responsibilities, special assignments and tasks as directed by the Chief Audit Executive

Actively participates in assigned Cross Functional Teams (CFT) and ensures timely dissemination of information to CFT
