- Assisting the Finance department Month-end closing process among various other financial assignments and projects.
- Understanding, validating and analyzing production standard costs, product costs and inventory.
- Strong understanding to ERP Accounting system environments (Preferably ORACLE / Microsoft Dynamics).
- Do a regular product profitability analysis and trend analysis to assist operations in taking appropriate operating decisions.
- Performs promotion analysis and conduct post promotion reviews.
- Assists in the production cost allocation plan, pricing process, pricing strategies.
- Performs margin and pricing analysis to support key business initiatives as required.
- Assist the team in the preparation of monthly review and report of financial performance of the company and its business units and high-level financial indicators
- Create financial reports on inventory level, slow moving, quality of transition process and follow up on concerns for taking swift corrective action.
- Performs annual cost accounting events including physical inventory counts for all stores and cycle counts.
- Validates cost sales before month-end closing..
- Support Operations and Management with various kinds of analysis and reports as may be required from time to time.
- Tracking of performance to budget on a monthly basis
- Review bill of materials for accuracy.
- Reviewing and recommending internal controls related to material.
- Monitoring of ordering, purchasing, issuance & transfer of material to/from factories and outlets to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policy & procedures
- Preparing periodic reports for material consumption
- Conducting month end inventory count and investigating reasons for variances.
- Preparing & analyzing consumption reports and reporting on quantity variances.
- Analyzing monthly purchases and reporting on price variances.
- Randomly checking cash balances at all locations.
- Other duties as may be assigned by the management related to control function with special emphasis on cost control
