Support AMD -Strategy & OD to ensure that project and program management capacity is deployed flexibly to reflect variations in workload across the corporation.
Work closely with the Service Development Program Managers and Enabler Project Managers to ensure that they have systems and processes in place to deliver their fill contribution to corporate reporting.
Collaborate with all directorates and other professional staff ensuring that there is collective "buy in" to overall program and project Management arrangements and a team approach to overcome challenges.
The incumbent shall have a coaching role, supporting professional staff to be comfortable in working within the project management disciplines
Manage team of Project Managers, setting their objectives, identifying and supporting their development and reviewing their performance.
Ensure process for the control and identification of risks and issues and management within the program; and ensuring relevant leads and the AMD-Strategy & OD have early warnings of risks. Ensure that the discussions about risk identification and management of the risks take place at the right time and at the right level within the organization.
The incumbent will be responsible for Quality Assurance Program and Project Management reports before they are considered by the AMD -Strategy & OD and for ensuring that quality assurance skills are developed throughout the Corporation.
Assist in developing KPIs and benchmarking process of the programs, develop and implement a process for collection of data and ensures a common standard is applied across Corporation.
Responsible for identifying and forming appropriate partnerships with external bodies.
Provide the key day-to-day interface with Supreme Council of Health Program Management Office in relation to the tracking and reporting progress on the implementation of the Primary care strategy.
Manage the cycle of reporting on the strategy to Service Development and Enabler Committee, to SMEC and to the National Strategy Implementation Board, ensuring that all three committees are fully support in fulfilling their roles in relation to the strategy.
The incumbent will undertake any such related duties or responsibilities as directed.
