Department Description

Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development is a private, chartered, nonprofit organization, founded in 1995 by His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, Father Amir of Qatar. Guided by the principle that a nation's greatest resource is the potential of its people, Qatar Foundation aims to develop that potential through a network of centers devoted to progressive education, research, and community welfare.



Brief Posting Description

Assists the Superiors in implementation of Entrepreneur Business plans and projects as per Rasmaeel Fund and departmental goals, and prepares analysis and reports on possible opportunities to enhance existing projects or develop new ones.



Detailed Description

 Handles communication, maintains documents, records and files related to programs and participants.

 Assists superiors in developing applied programs, as such Rasameel Fund, by assessing the performance of existing programs and recommending changes and enhancements, and by developing new opportunities

 Executes the entrepreneurs support programs, as per approved plans and actions, and reports to superiors on results and areas of development. Execution duties, as such collect entrepreneur applications, interview entrepreneur applicants, assess applications, assist in developing business plans, assess business plans, conclude decision on business plans, follow up funded applicants and collect payments, etc.

 Particiates at continual assessment of the programs, activities and results for better satisfying target entrepreneurs and community development.

 Ensures that financial and non-financial resources available are optimally utilized in the administration of Entrepreneur Businesses and that activities are conducted within budget.

 Participates at marketing activities of Rasameel in coordination with the Commuication Department SDC and other key stakeholders.

 Works closely with beneficiaries to assist them in developing business plans, assessing their plans and conclude recommendations to superiors and ensure success of plans.

 Suggests to superiors ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of conducting the activities of the section. Clearly understands the objectives of each process, and identifies challenges and issues and brings it to the notice of superiors.

 Ensures that the entrepreneurial business activities are conducted with smooth coordination with related departments and affiliates.

 Ensures that all projects are executed within the requirements of legal and organizational policy requirements.

 Participates on planning & reporting development activities.
