Job Title: Transportation Supervisor (Saudi Nationals Only)

JOB PURPOSE:



The Job Holder is responsible for the delivery of an effective transportation plan to distribute and return aircraft parts/material to meet schedules across On Base customers. This includes the supervision, management and operation of assigned personnel and transport. Ensure all MHE/SPV/GPV transport is regularly maintained in accordance current regulations.



RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION:



Detail the essential qualifications (Degree/HND/HNC level etc) and number of years relevant experience necessary to perform the job accountabilities identified in Section D below at a competent level.







Essential



Strong background in Aerospace Logistics, preferably within the military environment.

Be able to co-ordinate transportation plans across multiple locations.

Good understanding and use of MS office products.

A track record of meeting strict deadlines without compromising standards and quality.

Strong communication skills.





Desirable



Previous experience as a supervisor within a Physical Logistics environment.

Experience of KSA/RSAF Logistics procedures.





JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:



Day to day supervision and development of Transportation personnel.

Supervise and maintain transportation plans for On Base movements.

Deliver consignments to schedule and at the correct defined standards.

Supervise maintenance of transport/MHE assets in line with defined standards.

Ensure that all equipment is transported in a secure and safe manner using all appropriate safe handling methods and aids.

Comply with all regulations for the movement of military material.





All appointments in Saudi Arabia are subject to receipt of all necessary Government and/or Customer approvals. Interview will be conducted in two weeks from closing date.
