Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to provide general Civil Engineering support to the Project.



Principal Accountabilities:



Attending progress meetings with the client & contractors.

Attending meetings with the Statutory Authorities.

Obtaining the NOC applications with design office support.

Checking drawings and documents including specs & BOQ’s prior to their issue.

Once contractor appointed liaise with the Resident Engineer to ensure that all technical issues relating to the designs are closed out to enable successful implementation of the infrastructure installations.

Coordinate Requests for Information from the Contractor/Resident Engineer and provide answers as appropriate with limited design office support.

Programme, financial and quality management of project deliverables

Working with the design offices engineers to ensure appropriate information and drawings are produced.

Producing Reports and meeting minutes.

Collecting all the information/data related to existing infrastructure utilities including wet, electrical and highways from the regulated authorities.

Collect all the information/data related to new projects and future plans from the regulated authorities.

Walk-over survey/visualize problem on site and creating viable solutions and mitigation measures.
