Building a leading business for tenders and projects in the field of Pharmaceuticals and search for and review new business opportunities, develop pricing strategies and effective sales & marketing campaigns
Provide guidance, analysis & management of the tendering process from preparation of tender documentation right through to contract award
Prepare Tenders / costing policies and produce a work plan
Collection and review of data pertaining to pre-determine “Pursue / No Pursue” ensuring all processes are involved in tender purchase
Negotiating tenders and direct purchasing opportunities with government’s Organizations
Analyze tender documentation including products, services, quantities, delivery deadlines, terms and conditions
Control the Bid & proposal cycle from start to completion, including the production of any materials required to be submitted to the customer
Understand the tender timeline and develops a time schedule plan to meet the relevant milestones on time
Work on own initiative as well as part of a team and ability to perform under pressure
Conduct customer visits as needed to understand customer requirements
Produces the final package for submission to the customer, technical documentation, pricing proposals, commercial leaflets, and sample requirements and produces the relevant paper work associated
Store and files all customer / supplier documentation on a tracking system, ensuring all submitted or received information is able to be tracked
Development of the business case for each project, ensuring target profit rates is maintained
Search for, evaluate the local and international competitors status.
Prepare “Request for Quotation” (RFQ) documents, analyze and compare responses from suppliers / vendors of all prices, delivery dates, terms and conditions
Assemble required technical documentation of the tender
Prepare costing structure (subject to approval)
Finalize tender documentation for submission including having all necessary approvals, bank guarantees, etc
Follow-up the progress of the client’s tenders awards
Provide timely reporting, forecasting, and recommendations to senior management
Establish effective communication with executives and managers across the company to ensure proper sensitivity to the needs of the sales & marketing activities
Participate in promotional events such as conferences, trade shows, and community relations programs to promote the company and its services
