Job Purpose:-



The job holder is responsible to support Corporate Services to develop and maintain a co-ordinate approach towards procurement and contract management for our client seeking value for money, relationship and performance management of suppliers and offering advice on all areas of purchasing and contract management.



Key Account abilities:-



Procurement Management:

• Performs all other relevant tasks assigned by the Supervisor & Purchasing Manager, Corporate Services

• Ensures that contracts and consultancy agreements inclusive of payments are properly administered in accordance with standard conditions of contract and standard consultancy agreements.

• Checks, reviews and processes formal contract documents.

• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, deliver management information, ensure data quality and appropriately communicate information.

• Support and participate in problem and knowledge management processes - create and maintain knowledge articles.



Operations Management:

• Ensures compliance with the client’s established purchasing policies & procedures and prevents abuse in line with the accepted standards.

• Ensures that all contracts are routed as per the authority matrix set by the Management.

• Ensure all contract are stamp signed and track

• Ensures all objectives and Key Performance Indicators are met in a timely manner.

• Reports work progress to the Supervisor & Purchasing Manager, Corporate Services on Monthly basis and keep up to date especially with any major issues that require attention.

• Performs all other tasks assigned by Supervisor & Purchasing Manager, Corporate Services.

• Establish and develop strong working relationships with customers and 3rd party providers to ensure that the quality of service provision are consistently managed and challenged to meet agreed Service Level Agreements.

• Effectively manage and monitor service, operating agreements and contracts in line with agreed priorities. Investigate and take appropriate action when dealing with breaches of service levels/agreements, which includes the management of financial penalties where appropriate.

• Manage the review of existing contracts and Service Level Agreements to ensure that the contract provides best value. Negotiate Terms & Conditions for the renewal of contracts.

• Embed contracts within relevant business areas in conjunction with the contract owner, ensuring that appropriate procedures and documentation are in place.

• Drafting of the contract, liaising with legal department for any clause queries received from supplier and end-users and make amendment accordingly.

• Maintains good relations with key external contacts such as suppliers to ensure that the Company is given the required level of attention and service.

• Ensuring all contract documents are issued (email/fax) and processed in sufficient time to ensure procurement operational requirements are met.

• Update the tracking mechanism for contract and notify End-user before expiry

• Ensures compliance and abides with the Company’s established purchasing policies & procedures and prevents abuse in line with the accepted standards.

• Preform all other task assigned by Purchasing Manager

• Open Tender, Closed Tenders,

• Pre-Purchase - Review Requisitions

• Pre-tendering - Ordering Procedures & Contracts (FIDIC guide lines).

• Literate in SAP ERP Procurement module

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:



Qualification:

• Minimum Graduate Degree or other relevant discipline



Experience:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Procurement and Contracts/ Tendering Management function in a large scale organization.
