1. Recruitment
-Coordination with various recruitment entities to recruit individuals willing to work on a project basis. Assessing the optimal way of recruitment depending on profile of individuals required.
-Assessing project field work requirements on a daily basis and recruiting accordingly.
-Negotiating agreements and contracts with the field.
-Monitoring response and cooperation rates and maintaining a database of these rates to assist in costing and setting time lines for future work.
2. Logistics
-Preparing and disseminating field material including photocopying of questionnaires, forms, contracts.
-Liaise with suppliers to get questionnaires from the field on a daily basis.
-Preparing on a monthly basis in-office and out-office expenses per project.
-Coordinating with the accounting department with respect to FW
-Handling all in-office and out-of-office logistics payments
-Problem anticipation and resolution
3. Fieldwork indoor area management
-Carrying-out training sessions for various projects
-Acting as liaison between project management and the field
-In-office quality control (responsible for supervision of editing, back-checking, coding, and data entry teams)
4. Fieldwork outdoor management
-Field work quality control (including monitoring quota group fulfillment and interview monitoring for quality control)
-Supervising all field supervisors
5. Management
-Assessing external training requirements of all full-time staff under his / her jurisdiction
-Supervising the update of the fieldwork database
-Evaluating part-time staff and deciding on incentives accordingly (Pre and Post studies carried out)
-Preparing a monthly plan for the FW department and sharing it with the Research Manager
-Providing a monthly report of the fieldwork database status and sharing it with the Research Manager
