Job Scope:
To lead and manage all commercial activities for the Company's and associated support functions. Develop and grow new client relationships within the Corporate industry space. Overall development and implementation of the business plan with specific profit responsibility for the development of products.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Management • Develop Commercial Targets in coordination with Group Sales Director.• Define and manage the monthly and annual commercial objectives.• Manage the needs of the Company's customers in order to meet the objectives of the company's overall business plans and financial goals.
Client Relationship Management:
• Oversee and develop client relationship to ensure the company maintains strong market position and promote the overall goals of the organization.• Ongoing collaboration with strategic sourcing, category development, supply and central marketing to maximize the impact of the commercial function.• Responsible for Tender Management, Contract Management and International Business Sourcing to achieve the budgeted gains and targets.• Developing and embedding continuous improvement to be maximize sustainable profitability, business excellence and be recognized as a trusted partner. • Establishes both market and target customer strategies for the company.
Commercial Management:
• Challenge and lead financial\commercial aspects of the business and ownership of existing and new business models. • Deliver profitability analysis at product level and linkage to commercial decisions, both within region specific and on a group wide basis.• Provide commercial input into business reviews and potential opportunities.• Preparation of brand specific business plans-including full P&L responsibility, sharing targets, pricing, promotional programs, internal financial targets and forecasts.• Represent brands both internally and externally.• Packaging development of each product and brand covering the brand awareness and product presentation.• Research and budgetary management• Control, monitor and evaluate plans and actions to ensure achievement of agreed performance measures for promotions and sales.• Review and analyze market positions and price analyses of each product line and share results with product development division.• Prepare and execute customer presentations.• Monitor report on and counter competitor activities and plans.• Prepare and execute communication, promotion, product development, packaging, and brand specific category management programs and initiatives.• Market analysis and planning.• Organize promotional schedules and promotional analysis.• Maximize the Company's reputation externally to our customers, our industry peers and prospective employees• Develop and manage short and long term sales strategic goals and objectives in coordination with the Sales team.• Direct the development of an annual Sales Plan and providing updates, revisions and modifications to the Plan. • Actively assessing the marketplace to identify new business development opportunities.• Keep up to date with recent market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies• Coordinate assignment and monitoring of sales goals and forecasts. • Assist the Group Sales Director n other tasks as requested.
