Job DescriptionOur client, a leading Telco company is looking to hire an Android and iOS Senior developer to join the digital design team on a permanent basis. The senior level mobile app developer will drive the design, development, and maintenance of Android and iPhone apps. The developer will work through the entire app lifecycle right from concept stage until delivery and post launch support. The successful candidate will be heavily involved in the evolution and ongoing development of the mobile strategy.Key responsibilities:- Acting as lead iOS and Android developer. Depending on the skills set can be lead on one platform and deliver support across the other- Working closely with another mobile app developer leading the other platform development - Being involved in all the entire app life cycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support- Woking directly with developers and product managers in order to conceptualize, build, deploy, test and realize products- Gather requirement around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional and engaging interactive solutions- Build prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects- Working along the UI/UX and web developers to create/maintain a robust framework to support the apps and to build the interface with focus on usability features- Create compelling and engaging device specific user interfaces and experiences- Standardising the platform and in some cases apps to deliver across multiple brand requirements with minimal duplication effort- Optimising performance for the apps- Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies- Explain technologies and solutions to non-technical stakeholderThe successful applicant will have to work autonomously in order to create, manage and review designed content and creative layout across a variety of digital communications materials.
