The Role:



This Business Solutions Lead will typically use analytical and quantitative methods to review supply chain operations and performance, help develop practical solutions to address supply chain challenges in a plan-source-deliver-service business cycle and gain or improve subject matter expertise on supply chain process and technologies pertaining to retail. Youwill possess some knowledge of one or more retail focused domains such as fashion, footwear, food, furnishings, etc backed by relevant operations or consulting work experience in large retail operations.



Responsibilities will include:

- Defining/implementing processes and systems to enable best in class supply chain practices within the various Alshaya divisions- Integrating people, process, policy, and technology related to various supply chain processes such as demand planning, supply planning, forecasting, integrated business planning, supply chain visibility, shipping trade management, merchandise planning, price optimisation, supply chain finance, warehouse management, etc- Leading/participating in business requirements gathering, solution design, solution validation, etc- Leading/participating in the selection process of vendors, technologies, tools, etc- Helping with data migration, data cleanup and other required data modeling efforts within various applications- Developing test scenarios, cases and scripts to be used in UAT to test product features, solution and base architecture- Working closely with Finance, Business Operations, eGroup and vendor teams to deliver projects on time- Building relations and working closely with other teams within eGroup and the business- Continuously improving the quality of eGroup delivery capabilities.





Skills and Experience:



The ideal candidate will have a Masters in engineering or business and ideally a certification in APICS, SCOR or CSCP certification.



In addition, you will have:

- 1-2 years' experience in designing/developing/ implementing/using one or more of the following: Oracle Value Chain Planning suite of applications - specifically Demantra, Advanced Supply Chain Planning with at least one full cycle implementation experience OR Shipping Process Automation systems such as Oracle, SAP, GT Nexus etc (focus on shipping & freight OR Warehouse Management Systems such as Manhattan, Oracle, SAP, etc)- Exposure to supply chain metrics and standard reference models such as SCOR (v 10.0 or later)- Demonstrated ability to work with cross functional teams- Detail orientation and ability to align with big picture- Communication skills - the ability to extract detailed information regarding business requirements, or present solutions to various levels of audience, or comfortably discuss technical or non-technical topics in group settings.
