•Carry out continued in-depth market analysis, including benchmarking competitors, highlighting price points, promotions, trends and new products to market.

•Maintain detailed knowledge, understanding and analysis of the market, our own products and competitors’ products and positioning.

•Identify gaps and highlight opportunities to maximize range mix for increased profitability, suggesting key models and price points.

•Research and recommend pricing strategies.

•Make proactive recommendations of opportunities within the area of responsibility, and execute agreed actions.

•Be the first port of call for support, communications and issues for specified product area.

•Develop ranges for the market ensuring selection and design in compliance with brand positioning guidelines.

•Develop business plans and budgets for product area in line co. Strategy.

•In conjunction with Sales and Marketing, take lead role to establish a rolling 6 month activity plan to ensure the product area achieves its stated goals with fallback plans available.

•Evaluate promotions (in coordination with marketing).

•Monitor and uphold brand position (specs & price positioning).

•Create and develop structured and targeted feature/benefit argumentation in line with brand positioning and in conjunction with Marketing and Business Development team, feedback market requirements.

•Give input in developing Category presentation templates.

•Take ownership of new product launches, in conjunction with Marketing and Sales, to ensure successful ‘go to market’ strategies and launches.

•Support range planning process.

•PS (Product Catalogue input) and Range On Line (ROL) maintenance and update.

•Work closely with Sales Operations and Channel Heads to ensure 3-12 months volume forecast and mix.

•Proactively participate in Category Management projects.

•Ensure extensive cross-function coordination throughout the organization.
