The I/T Documentation Manager is responsible for the following tasks in respect to the management of the Project:
• To establish, maintain and update a complete computer network not only for the Contractor’s but also for the Engineer’s Personnel. The network will be permanently internet oriented and equipped with Wi-Fi.
• To assist any department in establishing appropriate software applications.
• To develop or configure document management system features, such as user interfaces, access profiles, and document workflow procedures, forms etc.
• receive, distribute and track documents such as RFI and its attachments.
• To coordinate with related department people on daily basis to get how many RFI are initiated, submitted to the Engineer and Received from the Engineer and status.
• To make sure that the RFI/Document register is updated with all received information - details, i.e.
o To rename document according to the specifications,
o To store document in a physical file/location,
o To update document register, To analyse document content,
o To build document relationships, To prepare document property filed.
o To analyse RFI content, verify its attachments, prepare RFI parameters, and create/update in RFI system
o To analyse RFI Gaps and coordinate with document Controller for missing
• To import digitized documents into document management system
• To provide various reports
