To support our growth at grass roots level, we are seeking to appoint smart graduates to work as interns for a period of 12 months. Reporting functionally to the Human Resources Manager - Employee Relations, you will cycle though all of SSH’s business support functions, completing a monthly learning log and giving quarterly progress presentations to our Management Board.



During this period you will also act as the primary interface between SSH’s on-site project teams and the organisation’s business support functions.

Spending 50% of your time working in a real-time delivery team and reporting operationally to the Chief Resident Engineer you will assist with tasks such as site mobilization, IT, facilities, resource deployment and HR process, gaining valuable on-the-job experience of how a leading design and construction management business really works.



At the end of the 12 months internship you will have the opportunity to apply to join SSH’s formal graduate development programme in either the Business Support or Project Management & Commercial cohorts.

You will also receive a certificate and letter of work experience and SSH’s personal reference.



We are looking for self-starters who are natural communicators with the ability to act effectively in an interface role between multiple stakeholders across the organisation. Strong academics are important; equally important will be your persistent and tenacious focus on delivery and the ability to get things done via tact and diplomacy. You will be a natural completer - finisher, smart and hungry to achieve with the attributes required to know how to make yourself indispensable to an internal client group.
