Work in close collaboration with Senior
Work in close collaboration with Senior Software Engineers and other Systems Engineers, as well as Researchers, to design, program and implement applications software for QCRI.

Detailed Description
• Participate in writing detailed descriptions of user requirements, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs to fully document customer requirements
• Establish a detailed program specification through discussion with clients to clarify precisely what actions the program is intended to perform
• Contribute to an application’s design and development standards to deliver quality solutions consistent with objectives and client requirements
• Increase application operating efficiency through performance monitoring to provide application services in compliance with prior user established agreements
• Create and maintain technical documentation using approved documentation templates to provide continuity from initial deployment to support
• Deliver effective and efficient solutions by meeting key project milestones and overall project deliverables on time, and adhering to development and quality standards
• Employ change management standards, to ensure all changes to developed systems are well planned and tested to preserve the integrity of the system
• Contribute to evaluating research needs’ systems and user needs to ensure that customer requirements are met
Participates in the development of Qatari personnel career plans and ensures knowledge transfer to Qatari staff to achieve QCRI Talent Programme Objectives.
