POSITION OBJECTIVES



Overall responsible for project progress, project schedule and quality of work; leads the whole project team in ensuring efficient and timely execution.



To set the goals and strategy to execute the project in accordance with the Owners Agreement and Objectives.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



 Development of Target Construction Program and Construction Methodology.



 Direction and delivery of all construction activity in accordance with the program.



 Others monitor, review and adjust short-term programs and job plans to ensure time requirements are met, and regularly report on progress supported by PM and Consultants.



 Manage through the Client Team and monitor direction of any supervisory staff supported by PM and Consultants.



 Maintain through the Client Team the PM, Contractors, and Consultant in the planning and execution of work.



 Ensure others are in compliance at site level with the requirement specified by the Main Contractor and Consultants.



 Anticipate and prevent industrial resident issues; conferring with contractors management and PM to resolve site complaints and grievances.



 Management of the site OH&S including: development and implementation of site safety plans; ensure compliance with Main Contractor and PM with Contractor’s OH&S plan; audit subcontractors’ safety plans; maintain records and documentation. Ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times through regular inspection and rectification.



 Audit the management of the site Quality Assurance including: compliance with the Contractor/Supervision QA Management System and processes; audit subcontractor’s compliance with specifications and North Gate Management System; maintain records and documentation.



 Supervisory responsibilities include planning and delegating work; motivating staff; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems; building cohesive teams.



 Through the Commercial Manager, support, manage and control costs both internal (preliminaries) and external (subcontractors and Main Contractor).



 Through the Client Team ensure that accurate records are maintained with PM Consultants.



 Support Team with negotiations with Municipalities to ensure that the works are executed within the approved Permit design.



 Take instructions from the CEO and pass to the Client Team.



 Prepare progress reports to keep the CEO informed.



 Prepare mitigations and strategies.
