1. Supervising the daily QA / QC activities

• Ensure that incoming raw materials and components are within S. C. Johnson specifications and release to production.

• Monitoring the production process to guarantee that filling weights, crimping, pressures etc. are within specs.

• Service and rectify quality problems encountered with suppliers or production.

• Examine final packaging and finished goods to ensure conformity with S.C. Johnson standards.

• Service and rectify consumer complains and where appropriate recommend corrective action.

• Accurate and precise operations of Gas Chromatograph, Auto-titrators, Coulometer, Spectrophotometer to deliver reliable test results.

• Release of finished goods after passing the required Acceptance Quality Limit

• Ensure that all products placed on the pallets are stable and will not collapse during transit and storage



2. Developing and qualifying local suppliers

• Maintain data base and performance of suppliers; determine suppliers’ capability and risk contribution.

• Perform Supplier Quality Audits,

• Test of any new and alternate/substitute materials before production

• Leading and following up on all improvement projects implementation at the suppliers.

• Ensure that all Material Safety Data Sheets are updated and available from the suppliers

• Coordinates with all corrective and preventive actions resulting from occurrence of quality related problems

3. Leading product quality improvement projects including process capability studies, high complaint expenditure, controlling quality deviations, process optimization and process control

4. Auditing and correcting any issues with processing and packaging instructions to ensure our product quality and integrity.

5. Managing the Quality Management systems including initiation of quality best practices including total quality management and 6 Sigma.

6. Maintaining ISO 9001 quality certifications, internal quality audit and GLP programs in the quality laboratories

7. Supporting the New Product developments activities including Stability/compatibility testing, local Production Line Qualification, Packaging evaluation etc.

8. Ensure GEN 24 or product safety and environmental compliance with SCJ and government requirements

9. Updates and maintain specifications of raw materials, packaging materials, electrical devices, and other components of products being manufactured

10. Reporting all Quality KPIs and corresponding action plans.
