Job Description

To support the development of Qatar’s knowledge-based economy by increasing ICT utilization among small and medium-sized enterprises.



• Identify cost-effective resources to help increase the knowledge of SME’s in different ICT solutions and technologies

• Work with different ICT suppliers to develop cost-effective packages to help SMEs adopt technology

• Develop SME toolkits (i.e. Web Presence, e-Commerce, etc.)

• Solicit ICT vendors/sponsors that are interested in helping SMEs and have them contribute to Business Connect and other ICT awareness and adoption workshops

• Strengthen the awareness of the value of ICT among businesses and SME's

• Increase the adoption of ICT and the Internet among SME’s

• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of section and initiative-related systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
