The role will ensure accurate translation of documents and communications between Arabic and English (as required) across the spectrum of legal activities within Alghanim Industries. The translator will liaise with all stake-holders within the Legal Department to ensure accuracy of meaning and that deadlines are agreed and met.



Reading through original material and translating it into the target language, ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained.



Providing a grammatically correct, well-expressed final version of the translated text, usually as a word-processed document.



Assisting in the understanding of the nuances of translated documents by investigating and understanding unfamiliar definitions and terms.



Keeping records and maintaining a database of documents as they are translated and evaluated.



Using specialist dictionaries, thesauruses and reference books to find the closest equivalents for terminology and words used.



Proofreading and editing final translated and edited documents.



Prioritizing work to meet deadlines.
