• Prepares service mis-en-place in accordance with company standards.

• Present menus to guest and answer questions about menu items, making recommendation upon request.

• Explain how various menu items are prepared.

• Escort Guest to their tables.

• Write/repeat food orders on order slip, memorize order, or enter order into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff.

• Prepare checks.

• Collect payment from guest.

• Remove dishes and glasses from tables, and take them to kitchen for cleaning.

• Clean table after guest have finished.
