- Manages people, assets, projects or processes.
- Monitors performance of team or external contacts and gives advice / guidance to managers in a specialist area.
- Objectives are set within well-defined limits although some adaptation on day-to-day issues may be required.
- Problems may vary but solutions can be defined from previous experience with judgement being required to choose and apply the most appropriate solution. Needs for high degree for autonomy with a need to deal with international staffing issues, refugees cash for work guards, warehouse casual labourers and external suppliers/service providers.
- To be Responsible and accountable for ensuring that logistics activity in Za’atari camp is carried out in accordance with the authority of the Logistics, Purchasing and Supply Procedures Manual and the Oxfam Logistics Policy and in accordance with Jordanian laws.
- Maintaining Oxfam assets including the recording of assets; disposal of assets; reporting any asset movement, loss or damage.
- Manage/coordinate logistics activities and operation in Za’atari camp and coordinate with country office.
- Security focal point
- Manage Admin assistant (extra added responsibility).
- Manage/oversee the casual guards in Za’atari camp.
- Management of Procurement and Supply (including ensuring procurement tracking).
- Management of Warehouse / Storage Management (including ensuring up to date stock reports).
- Management of Vehicle Management.
- Management of Information and Reporting.
- Line Management Support and Development of Staff.
- Timely Submission of monthly logistics status report for Za’atari to Country Logistics Manager.
- Any task reasonably assigned to him/her by your line manager or designated person.
