Job Summary:

*Apply principles of accounting to provide financial information by researching and processing data; prepares financial reports by compiling information, ensures appropriate control procedures.

*Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.

Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.

Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.

Main Accountabilities:

*Prepare Financial Statements.

*Handle end of month closing.

*Prepare the P&L by project.

*Conduct monthly reconciliation of financial information.

*Prepare the Assets File on monthly basis.

*Follow up on suppliers’ invoices with the operations team.

*Reconciliate the sales report with the financial data on the accounting system during the show and update the financial statements accordingly.

*Regular update of conferences budget.

*Prepare Profitability statement for the local shows and a comparative analysis with the previous year.

*Update and control profitability statement of shows and compare to budget.

*Follow up with the sponsors on payments.

*Prepare reports as requested by the Finance Managers.

*Assist in the budget preparation.

*Regular update of the company budget.

*Discuss Project Budget with Project Managers.

*Handle the calculation and payment of the agents’ commissions.

*Check the commission of the sales team and project managers.

*Receive monthly payroll from HR department, controls data entry including all details related to NSSF, tax declaration, medical bills, etc.

Compute and prepare relevant reports related to proper coordination and follow up with the Ministry of Finance and NSSF.

*Assist external auditors by conducting end of year reconciliation of all accounts and preparing the required files for the audit process.
