Job Overall Description



Experienced IT networks and servers administrator is required for a leading insurance company located in Sharjah to work in the Head office, you will be responsible for supporting a Microsoft Windows environment from design through implementation, support and reporting.

You will be expected to perform a wide variety of installation, configuration and upgrading of workstations, servers and related hardware and software in a LAN, WAN and stand-alone environment.

Provide investigation, diagnostic testing and repair/resolution of system, hardware, software and infrastructure.



Primary Responsibilities (But Not Limited To) :

 Install and configure all new hardware, systems, and network devices

 Supports administration of servers and server clusters

 Perform troubleshooting analysis of servers, workstations and associated systems

 PBX setup and maintenance

 Ensure uninterrupted network and internet connectivity 24x7

 Monitor network and bandwidth utilization

 Microsoft Exchange (DAG) management “experience is a must”

 Microsoft DC, ADC and DHCP management “experience is a must”

 Microsoft Hyper-V (SCVMM) design and implementation “experience is a must”

 Networking principles (LAN, WAN, Switches).

 Manage users accounts, permissions, domain policies and email, anti-virus, anti-spam

 Anti-virus installation and threat management

 Network security devices and Firewalls (Cisco, Barracuda, Fortinet ) “experience is a must”

 Manages all system back-up and restore protocols (Symantec Back-up Exec Preferred)

 Documents network problems and resolution for future reference

 Periodical reporting for IT related impacts and diagnosis to IT manager

 Protect IT infrastructure from external and internal threats
