Responsibilities:

• Ensure that quality standards of articles and company data are met

• Ensure compliance with style guide

• Check text to ensure it is well written and logically structured

• Correct grammar and spelling

• Check facts with Analyst and Managing Editor

• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• 5+ years journalism or business information experience, at least two years copy editing

• Ability to copy edit news stories, features, company data and other material for content and style quickly and thoroughly under deadline pressure

• Knowledge of financial and business terms

• Ability to work effectively with other staff members to develop their journalism skills and strengthen their contributions

• Bachelor’s in journalism, or subjects related to financial reporting
