To oversee the design and implementation of the NMoQ’s oral history and intangible culturalheritage program.

Formalize guidelines establishing processes and systems for oral history and intangible cultural heritage (ICH) collection management.

Responsible for drafting the research and collections strategy for the NMoQ’s inventory of oral history and ICH.

Investigate, plan, coordinate, and prepare appropriate research and project directives for NMoQ’s oral history and ICH program.

Process, record, and abstract conducted interviews and heritage traditions in accordance with professional best practices, and conduct research as needed.

Coordinate an oral history team of visiting and staff field researchers initially focused on collecting content for core exhibitions and programs.

Provide or organize research efforts that align with content for exhibitions or programs that draw upon, support, or include oral history and ICH initiatives.

Provide support as needed to an International Advisory Committee as it may relate to oral history or intangible cultural heritage

Facilitate meetings and training for oral history staff and volunteers as needed
