Field Service Representative DefenseAl Udeid AB, QatarCompetitive salary

We are recruiting a talented local hire individual, to provide Field Service Technical Representative support to the Qatari Emiri Air Force customer by utilizing multi-disciplined technical expertise and C-17 aircraft systems knowledge to assist the customer to achieve/sustain a high level of proficiency in the operation and maintenance of this aircraft and by investigating technical problems, determining causes, developing and implementing corrective actions.

This job is a level 3 or 4 depending on the candidates level of experience and requires a good level of experience and qualifications in relation to the scope and responsibility of the position. Successful candidate will go through healthcare and background checks as required by the Qatari Immigration rules.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

• Candidate is expected to initiate Field Service Reports, acts as the on-site liaison between the company and customer personnel of varying backgrounds to gain resolution of significant technical and operational issues.• Works for extended periods of time in a wide variety of cultural/economic environments.• Proven experience in C-17 avionics and flight controls, electrical/electronics analysis and troubleshooting, and aircraft systems.• Proven and accepted track record within Field Engineering and Technical Support areas and familiar with its processes and procedures.• In-depth knowledge of the C-17 Technical Order reference, and knowledge of Engineering Disposition/Request for Engineering Disposition Instructions process.• Demonstrated leadership skills. Willing to work any shift.• Clearance is helpful, but not required.• Diversity skills and ability to excel in non-English work environment are required.• Position requires relocation to Qatar.
