Position Description



Due to Expedia’s expansion, we have now opened a new position for a Senior Global Account Manager who will be responsible for our chain partnerships. Some of the main responsibilities for this position are direct management of all the Global relationships with current and prospective stakeholders. It is also important that the Senior Global Account Manager always ensures strong support for both the customer and Expedia business objectives and shows strong, intelligent and “sharp” character in making every business decisions. We are looking for someone who can adapt himself as a self-starter but can also work and handle any demands from our Market Managers. This position will be based in our office in Dubai and it will be reporting directly to our EMEA Director for Global Accounts.





Responsibilities:



• Managing a portfolio of Global Accounts and day to day relationship management within the Middle East



• Direct responsibility for the profitability, relationship management and internal strategy relating to assigned accounts



• Identifying opportunities for partners to increase revenue and shift share, aligned with Expedia’s core commercial strengths



• Establishing trusted-consultant status in the industry



• Work closely with GPG Revenue Managers to identify and establish processes that improve efficiencies with regards to ensuring optimization of rates and availability



• Working in coordination with team on continually advancing levels of internal engagement



• Service suppliers’ administrative and technical requests, working cross-functionally to achieve timely resolutions



• Providing regular relevant reporting and general communication on status of accounts to the Director of Global Accounts in EMEA



• Communicating regularly on key industry matters impacting assigned accounts
