• Coordination with Client as Contractor’s delegated representative.

• Ensuring that the Project Quality Plans interface satisfactorily with the requirements of the Contract.

• Implementation of the Project Quality Plan of the project.

• Responsible for all site activities, and mobilization plan. Participates in the development of site construction schedules.

• Responsible for the budget and cost control of all construction related activities. He is also responsible or the site administration, including personnel, logistics, warehousing, communications, accounting etc.

• Responsible for coordination with site and head office for all site and construction needs.

• Responsible for reviewing design drawings, shop drawings and engineering instructions to ensure all Engineering Documents are approved and cleared, in order to release for Construction.

• Responsible for all the construction activities at site. He is to ensure that construction is completed in accordance with the Drawings, Specification, and Project Quality Plan and meets contractual requirements.

• Coordinates with Client /consultant and their representatives in order to solve day-to-day problems at construction site.

• Has overall responsibility on the construction site in matters related to construction including material, equipment assembly and performance of employee.

• Responsible for the implementation of Project Quality Plans and Safety plan at construction site.

• Participates in the staff meetings at site to review progress, problems and future activities.

• Participates in Quality meetings related to project site activities.

• Responsible for testing, commissioning and final approval of work.

• Coordinates the activities of the electromechanical and civil sub-contractors and suppliers, and liaise with client and consultant.

• Supervision of site Engineers and providing technical information, monitoring of progress and activities reports.

• Reviews scaffolding requirements, shuttering designs and other temporary works.

• Attends progress meetings with consultant and client, review site progress, and discuss problem areas.

• Prepares monthly progress percentages.

• Prepares monthly invoices and payment certificates.

• Hand over the project upon completion.

• Assignment of duties for site Engineers.

• Sub-Contract negotiations and agreement.

• Local Authorities approvals.

• Monthly Report (progress at site and cost analysis).

• Review the Payment Certificate prepared by the Company Accountants.

• Claims Preparation.

• Analyzes and go through the projects’ specifications, drawings, bill of quantities, etc.

• Checks schedules Program of Work/project activities prepared by the Planning Engineer.

• Reviews all the estimates time required to perform each work/activity, effectively and efficiently

• Monitors and that progress of the project on time are within the approved budget and in accordance with the contract specifications.

• Coordinates with the Project Manager regarding the work progress against the time schedule to ensure completion of the project.

• Checks all the reports pertaining to quality of materials and the installation of work as per specifications.

• Monitors that the required personnel are for the timely mobilization of the project.

• Checks with the Safety Officer regards to all aspects related to project health, safety and security.

• Monitors and checks that the corrective actions raised to improve the progress and/or quality of work.

• Receiving and replying correspondences, accordingly.

• Monitors thru the Safety Officer regarding all safety procedures/precautions are strictly implemented at Project Site.

• Monitors the projects’ time and schedule thru the report of the Project Manager and ensure completion of the project on time.

• Checks that all pertinent documents such are completion certificate are obtained from concerned authorities.
