Managing overall activities of Non-Local and local procurement activities of the company in differentareas, including implementation of company work instructions and systems.
Ensure that suppliers are included in the company’s approved Vendors list.
Assignment of Procurement Staffs
Budget Allocation and Control of Procurement.
Reports to Management & Procurement Engineer
Co-ordinate with project managers/accountants … etc.
Compare the quotations received from vendors.
Prepare order confirmations based on prices quoted by Vendors.
Process orders, follow-up with suppliers and supervise the receipt of the goods to site.
File insurance claims and follow-up.
Receive material requisitions from Store Administration and projects .
Contact suppliers for best quotations and search the market for ex-stock material.
Follow-up cash and credit purchasing.
Ensure delivery of material to sites.
Prepare official orders, L/Cs, advance payments, etc.
Give technical instructions and guidance to Store Administration Staff.
Overall responsibility of Store Code maintenance.
