Role Purpose:



Business analytics seek to understand the business issues and information challenges that organizations and industries face. He assesses the health of a business and determines where areas can be enhanced or streamlined. In addition business analytics examine and modify business requirements, procedures and workflows according to a firm’s objectives, specifications and budget.

Should possess problem solving skills and should be able to create and test hypotheses

Performing data mining on existing warehouses to extract information that can assist in dynamic decision making of the process owners.



Demonstrating opportunities for best-in-class process management to the process

Owner.

Solid background in statistical, exploratory data mining, Business Intelligence and operations research competencies with experience in finance domain



Provide hypothesis-driven analytics, or data-driven analytics to render the best decision support.





Identify different kinds of structures and relationship in data and use statistical tests to examine the relationship,



Communication:



Collaborates with and understands business goals and direction and translates to Business decisions.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, negotiations skills, Multi-cultural tolerance, interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment

Pursues internal opportunities to champion new ideas and concepts and leads the conceptual design of highly complex systems.



Knowledge:



Working knowledge of linear regressions, Logistic Regression, Nural Nets Using, SAS Enterprise Miner, or JMP or Excel pivot tables.



Predictive and Classification analysis & scenario analysis.



Model analysis & development.



Strong verbal and written communication skills, negotiations skills, interpersonal skills.
