About the Company
The company is a fast growing technology solutions company founded in 2012. The vision is to deliver an integrated technology solution to address the business critical activity of field inspections in industries like Oil & Gas, Marine, Construction, etc that provides significant productivity gains. The vision aims to bring together the “mobility” revolution with the critical field activity of inspections.
Company’s head-office and development center is based in Bangalore, India and the international office based in Dubai. The company is promoted by experienced professionals with relevant domain, technology, and consulting experience as well as contacts in the relevant customer industries. The company is well funded by the promoters and has customers in UAE and Singapore. The company currently has development staff strength of 10 and is looking to add personnel to the engineering and sales functions to really scale up its business operations.
About the Role
As a Regional Sales Manager, Middle East you will report to the CEO and be responsible for developing a strong pipeline and converting it into product user license sales in the Middle East market. The target markets will include but not limited to UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, etc.
The person should be results-driven, highly-motivated individual who can own a disciplined sales process in order to drive transactions. The candidate should be interested in developing their career with this growing company as we develop our team. This is an exciting technology arena which is seeing fast growth and customer adoption and we want individuals who are passionate in wanting to make a difference and have the right attitude, enthusiasm and ambition. The individual should be able to work independently, comfortable in a small company environment and would have to work from a home-office initially. The role involves travel to customer locations in various countries in Middle East.
Responsibilities
• understand customers' business needs and apply product knowledge to meet them
• ensure quality of service by developing a thorough knowledge of technical specifications and other features of employers' systems and processes, and then document them.
• identify and develop new business through networking and follow-up calls
• cold-calls in order to create interest in products and services, generate new business leads and arrange meetings.
• prepare and deliver customer presentations and demonstrations of the software, articulately and confidently
• market and promote the product by writing and designing sales literature and through attending industry events
• develop effective sales plans and get approval from senior management
• provide technical advice to customers on all aspects of the product installation, both before and after the sale
• advise on software features and how they can be applied to assist in a variety of contexts that apply to the customer
• scope any product customization that’s required in each customer context
• meet sales targets set by managers and contribute to company targets
• network with existing customers in order to maintain links and promote additional products and upgrades
• handle product problems and faults and refer on to specialist technical colleagues
• write proposals, reports and supporting literature
• work independently and manage your own diary in order to organise and prioritise daily and weekly goals
• provide regular update to manager on progress against various sales metrics
• maintain awareness and keep abreast of constantly changing software and hardware systems
