•Ensuring all areas of Quality on projects are compliant with all the relevant standards and procedures.
•Supporting and following up with projects and advising on required improvements.
•Orientation on ISO 9001:2008 requirements.
•Coordinating with vendor quality approvals when required.
•Reviewing site purchase orders to ensure that the applicable requirements are met (on project level).
•Coordinating any resolution of any nonconforming reviewing vendors QA / QC systems in accordance with contractual requirements.
•Being on site for specific quality meetings (including client quality management) and any other technical meetings.
•Ensuring the verification of documentation and certificates for materials purchased.
•Coordinating with other quality units for quality improvements.
•Preparing and controlling project quality system management documentation prior to project commencement.
•Verifying contractor quality requirements and contractor documentation submittals.
•Reviewing documents, and other technical details pertinent to the project under execution.
•Performing all site audits on behalf of the BATCO’s management.
•Issuing and tracking of nonconformance reports.
•Monitoring the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system. Recommend and implementing improvements when required.
•Coordinating all QA / QC activities with the project manager.
•Coordinating all quality related correspondence with the projects’ representatives.
•Following and closing all clients’ complaints.
•Controlling all documentation upon the completion of the project (close out report)
•Coordinating with the owners' representative on all Quality control issues.
•Monitoring project quality plan and quality management procedures.
•Preparing quality control procedure; inspection and test plans, Method statements once required.
•Monitoring implementation of the construction quality control procedures.
•Monitoring all the laboratories on projects.
•Preparing QC Monthly reports.
•Carry out all necessary inspections on site and assisting to QC inspectors.
•Reviewing and ensuring the implementation of the QCP’s ITP’s.
•Reviewing and evaluating all laboratories and test records.
•Filing of Quality records and entering a proper handing over of all quality files on the projects.
•Coordinating with the safety officer regarding safety requirements.
•Preparing periodic reports regarding the performance of work to be presented to the project manager.
•Conducting field visits to check the Quality and engineering aspects including technical specifications and workshop drawings.
•Preparing periodic reports regarding the accomplished assignments to be presented to PM & QHSE Manager.
•Carry out all required field inspections.
•Coordinating with the project's Site Engineers to ensure that all procedural aspects are being carried out through a systematic method.
•Coordinating with the laboratories, surveyors and stores to ensure all site Inspections are properly completed.
•Any other duties assigned by the QHSE Manager and project Manager within scope of specialty.
